In April 2021, USC Upstate refreshed their brand with several changes. First most, green was changed from Pantone 349C to 348C. Effective immediately, the athletics program exclusively uses the U-Upstate mark as its primary athletics following years of the U-Upstate and U-Spartans marks used interchangeably. The U-Spartans mark was discontinued at this time.
